The whole place was really lovely, the decor was great to look at, even the downstairs toilets had a classic look to them. The staff were really friendly, and had a good chat with them finding out they make their own cakes. Definitely a place to go for a chill, and chat.
One of my favourite Hastings spots. The banana bread with cream cheese icing is just the best thing since unsliced banana bread (it's really so good!) Coffee is great, food, delicious!...and service, always lovely.
What a fantastic cafe. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Not only is the food incredible, but the staff are so accommodating. They kindly let 6 of us eat which meant bringing out an extra table. Nothing was an issue for the staff and they just wanted to help and ensure everything was perfect. The food quality is a 10/10. I will absolutely be telling everyone about The Cake Room and will be going back as quickly as I can! A must visit.
A lovely place to pop in for a relaxing drink and food from the wonderful selection offered. The almond pastries were labelled as 'the best' and they were pretty amazing! Very friendly people and beautiful decor.

My friend and I went for an afternoon tea it was such a wholesome experience :). Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and friendly, everyone smiled and said hello even if they weren’t directly serving us which was so lovely. I had a gluten free option while my friend had a vegetarian option. Everything was made / sourced locally, presented beautifully & it tasted amazing. I would 100% recommend going here It felt very relaxed and peaceful & was such a wonderful afternoon; thank you to all the staff and chefs .
The last 5 visits to St Leonards & Hastings we have gone here for some light lunch. Every visit its been excellent. Laid back ambience, lovely owners, nice staff and yesterday we had the cheese and ham toastie in a light crisp toasted bread with the mushroom, caramalised onion toastie. Both excellent. They keep making it difficult to try anywhere else! Dog friendly too.
